Operations Assistant
Bank Star, Pacific has an excellent opportunity for an Operations Assistant. This position performs a variety of administrative duties to assist Assistant Vice President / Cashier and Operations Department. Specific responsibilities include:
- Screens telephone calls and visitors and directs them to appropriate parties.
- Completes Board Reports and coordinates Board Meetings. .
- Checks daily Currency Transaction Report (CTR) received from tellers and submits the report.
- Assists with managing Securities and Bonds by printing security reports, making entries, sending letters to custody of securities, and by updating the security listing monthly.
- Checks daily Regulation D violations, records it and sends letters.
- Confirms wires and transfers and in certain situations performs wires and transfers.
- Coordinates Welcome Home Program
- Ensures that required training is completed and documentation is submitted. Ensures that quarterly Clean Desk audit, and correspondent Bank Monitoring Report is completed.
- Ensures unclaimed property reports and required tasks are completed.
- Fills out Insurance forms, collects Workman's Comp Certificates from contractors and checks daily for OFAC updates.
- Balances DDA, Savings, and CD accounts several times a month. Completes Non-Monthly audit.
- Assists Bank Cashier in preparation for audits and exams.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
This position requires an Associate Degree and two years related work experience. In addition, it requires personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) and experience with database and calculators. This position requires excellent spelling, grammar and interpersonal skills to be able to communicate in a courteous, professional, tactful and concise manner. Must be organized and detail orientated.
