Attention all customers: Beware of a debit and credit card scam.

We’ve received word that area households are being targeted in a debit/credit card scam.

If you receive an automated message stating that your debit or credit card has been suspended, PLEASE DISREGARD. The message may request that you enter specific card information, such as account number and security code, in order to re-activate the card.

DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY SUCH MESSAGE. Never give out your debit or credit card information unless you initiate the call.

This phone scam is a mass auto-dialing effort targeting local households.

Bank Star is located in Pacific, MO., and serves the St. Louis, Franklin, and Jefferson counties from our location on 1999 West Osage.

Transactions made or received prior to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for federal holidays) will be posted on the same business day. Transactions made or received after the 4:00 p.m. cut off time will be posted on the next business day. A business day is everyday except Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays.
